The members of the Island Bay-Ber-hamporo branch of the League of Mothers spent an enjoyablo afternoon at the monthly meeting, at which Mrs. Hindmarsh presided. Two recitations were given to Miss Grace Korr and a piano solo by .Miss Rona Taylor. Mrs. Frieda Shaw delivered a particularly interesting and instructive lecture on "Eating for Health," showing the intimate connection between body and mind. Two songs were sung by Mrs. Davies and Mrs. Henderson, and a piano duet was given by Miss Gladys Vause and Master Harold Vivian.
