VIEW FROM KELBURN PARK
(To the Editor.) Sir,—l am greatly interested in the letter signed "Citizen" which appeared in your issue of the'Bth August, and agree with him that it is high time that some action was taken by the authorities controlling Kelburn Park to restore to us the magnificent view which at the present time is obscured. I have lived in the vicinity of the Park for many years, and my children and myself, use it a good "deal. The foliage has been allowed to grow down the side of tho wire fence at the eastern end of the Park; the bushes have no particular merit or beauty, and in course of time have grown to such a height that nothing can be seen of the harbour or the city, except at one or two points. As suggested by "Citizen," I trust that the Director of Parks and Reserves will give instructions to have these bushes cut down to.waistlovel, and thus give us back our view.—l am, etc, INTERESTED.
