(To the Editor.) Sir,—May I express the thanks of many who wore able to follow the news of the Tahiti by means of the bulletins posted in your window? In particular on Sunday morning the reassuring message must have given much relief to those with relatives oil board, and your action in having samejMisplayea is doubtless thoroughly appreciated. Nevertheless one feels on such occasions it should be the duty of both the company concerned and the General Post Office to display the news, and one was somewhat amazed to find no news at either office. ft was thd "socond nature" of many people to go to "The Evening Post building—a tribute to the excollent service you afford the citizens of Wellington.—l am, etc., &O.S.1
