THREAT ON FRONTIER

__ ■ DELHI, 14th August. ~ The centre of unrest on the NorthWest frontier is reported to be moving toward the western border, and there is a definite danger tha.t the powerful Orakzai and Mohmand tribes will join the Afridi insurgents.

A most strict censorship is at present being exercised over news £rom the frontier. Outstanding developments, however, are the threat of an immediate attack on a British post a Kohat, the evacuation of women and children from Parachimar, which is a hill station near the scene of disorder, and the movement of troops from Jbansi. It ia understood, that the Seaforth Highlanders and Indian infantry are going to the frontier to-day. Two divisions of thirty thousand troops which are normally stationed on the frontierhave been considerably reinforced.
