NIGHTMARCH
IH'S CONDITION PLEASES
A good judge at Riccarton on Saturday was very impressed by the condition and appearance of Nightmarek. He said that the Melbourne Cup winner was a picture, and looked sure to put up a good fight in any compary in Australia. Nightmarch gave True Shaft a start in the public canter at the Hunt Meeting at Riccarton, and failed to get on terms with him, but in the opinion of the onlooker Nigntrnarch could still have finished in front if he had been pushed. MAuley has defcided not to take any two-year-olds when he leaves for Sydney this week, and his team will be composed only of Nightmareh and True Shaft. ■
