SOFT TRACKS AT TRENTHAM
Although rain fell early on Saturday morning" at Trentham the weather cleared later, and, trainers were able to exercise their horses on the sand track. Many horses, however, were kept to road work. The Australian bred jumper, Conjuror ILj trained by E. Murtagh, was sent out with Panorama to be schooled over the fences in the centre t>f the course. the gelding gave a good display. He will add interest to the Hawkes Bay Meeting and any other fixture at which he attends, and it will be surprising if he does not win a good race or two over fences for Mr. C. Boyle. He is a very free goer, and an attractive galloper, and ocrtainly will command plenty of attention.
