BACK FROM SYDNEY

Tho Trentham trainer J. W. Lowe arrived back from Sydney by tho Ulimaroa to-day with the two yearlings he purchased at the Easter sales.

J. M. Cameron brought back Merry Mint, who went lame in Australia and coul.d'iiot be raced.

On board tho steamer was a yearling brother to Oatendalo by Bossendale from Oat Bock, consigned to A. MAuley, trainer of-Nightmarch. Oatondale in his year looked a Derby possibility and was v very useful galloper.

Sent over to have the benefit of New Zealand pastures was. a two-year-old gelding by Cyklon from •. Cleis named Encase. According to the records Encase has had very little racing. He was a cheap yearling and cost his ownw only 80 guineas.
