DELHI, 21st May.

The campaign for resistance to the. salt laws took a serious turn at Dharasna, when a mob of two thousand who stormed the salt depot were charged by the,1 police. Over two hundred were injured, and the principal leaders, in. eluding Mrs. Sarojini Naidu and Manilal, Gandhi's second son, were arrested* Tour hundred police took part in the raid on the Congress _headqnarters, and arrested the president and all the officials of the staff. When the arrested men were being taken to the police statioii a crowd of thousands surrounded the lorry and stoned the police, who had to fight their way out. .
