FIJI BANANA EXPORT
Suva banana merchants have been in communication with Australia with a view to reopening the banana trade. It was practically closed in order to help Australian banana growing. Australian merchants replied' to the Fiji Planters Association, that they would welcome ii quotation for a contract price for 100.000 cases of the fruit, spread over a period of two yenrs from the date of first shipment.
