air f6rce ,well in While the field for the Wanganui Steeplechase to-morrow is not one to arouse unlimited enthusiasm, the remainder;' of the card provided by the. local club is first-class, and the racing should be good. There arc plenty of horses for this cramped course, and in the flat races an ounce of luck may make all the difference. between -winning and losing. This applies particularly, of course, to the fiat events, and horses who do not jump out well and obtain a good position in the early stages will have to be extra good to, score.
