VISITOR TO HOUSE OF
COMMONS

LONDON, 18th December,
Mr. Richard Tilden Smith, the well, known financier, dropped dead in th» House of Commons. He had visited the House to confer on the Coal Mines Bill with Mr. Lambert, M.P., and was leaving the luncheon room when he collapsed. Two doctors, Drs. J. Williams and J. Jones, M.P.'s, were immediately called and pronounced him dead.
