METHODICAL MURDER

VICTIMS TICKED OFF LIST

(Received 19th December, 2 pjm.)

VANCOUVER, 18th December.

Walter Crabtree, of Romney, West Virginia, developed such a grouch, against the authorities, who had several times arrested him, that he made out a list of six people he intended to wipe out. Before he was overpowered and captured, he had called at three houses, killing one in each place, and carefully; crossing the name off the list as he disposed of them. The victims included a Justice of the Peace and a gaoler.
