COATALEN'S NEW CAR

KAYE DON" APPROVES DESIGN

' ■ United Service. (Received 29th June, 1 p.m.) LONDON, 28th June. In a dramatic manner seated in Mr. Coatalen's Paris office, Kaye Don, the racing motorist, approved drawings of the most powerful motor-car in the "world, with which he will attack the ■world's land speed record. The drawings were immediately dispatched to "Wolverhampton, where construction of the car will begin in a secret corner of the works. In addition to being the most powerful car it will be the costliest in the world, the cost being estimated at £25,000. The car will be designed to travel at nearly 300 miles an hour. The biggest problem has been •wind pressure, but. Mr. Coatalen believes that he has succeeded in evolving^ a. method of streamlining which ■will prevent the car "trying to fly, instead of keeping to the ground. Kaye Don is one of Britain's most fearless and skilled drivers, the idol cf. Brooklands race crowds.
