KARORI AND TRAINING COLLEGE.
After a hard and fairly even game Karori succeeded in defeating Training College by four goals to three. Owing to the slippery state of the ground the play was not up to the usual standard, and the passing was often wild. Training College registered their first goal shortly after the opening of the game, Jliskelly netting irom a^ scramble in front of the net. " Shortly afterwards Hemslcy equalised for Karori. Training College eonJ tinued to defend and a few minutes be--1 tore the interval Lewer scored for Karori. When the game resumed played moved up and down the field until Paul netted for the students. A vigorous counter-attack by karori resulted in Hewitt and Jeromson increasing their number of "oals to five Although Training College fought hard to. improve their position the scores were unaltered when the game finished.
