ID€NTITY OF TROTTERS
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.)
CHBISTCHTTBCH, This Day. _ A meeting of the New Zealand Trotting Board decided to ask the West Australian Trotting Association what practice it adopted to ensure the identity of horses reported dead. This action followed on the receipt of a letter advising the registration of the horses Bingen Lad and Panto, which had been sent from New Zealand. Panto had died shortly after arrival. The board agreed that when the race was called a cup race a cup must be presented to the winner, otherwise the race would be designated a handicap.
