PARAMOUNT THEATRE.
Owing-to the great popularity of the sound pictures, 'the Paramount Theatre management lias extended the. season of last week's Fox movietone programme up to and including Thursday next. Saturday's matinee and evening sessions were attended by large and most appreciative holiday audiences. In the newsreel there are plainly hoard the remarks of tile starter to a jockey who holds up the start for a race. The ■ nnmilar American comedienne, Jliss Beatrice Lillie, is both seen and heard in a clever vai:doi-illo turn. Mrs Coolldge's brief speech at the christening of a United States airship is also clearly heard. Great mirth is .-evoked by the-humorous comedy, "Tho .Bath Between"; and the main feature of the programme, "The Air Circus," in tho course of which, somo amazing flying feats are prortayed, is' followed with the keenest interest. This wonderful moviotone not only tells, the story of .how. bravely a youthful airman dared the elements but reproduces at. the same time tho beautiful incidental music played by the ltoxy Theatre Orchestra of 110 ■ players. The leading artists in this romantic photoplay are Louise Dresser, David Rollins,. Sue Carol, and Arthur Luke. Tho programme. Is one that appeals, to adults and children alike. ' '. ..
