KING'S THEATRE.
A holiday audience greatly enjoyed at the King's Theatre on Saturday that romance of love and hate in the mysterious country of the Rlffe, "The White Sheik." Adapted from Rosita Forbcs's famous.novel, "King's Mate," this picture tells the story of a beautiful and highspirited English girl who finds herself 1 a captive in the hands of the white chieftain rf the hill tribes in Morocco. 1 While on holiday in Fez she wanders into the mountains'" nearby and. is captured by the Kill's," whose leader is an Englishman. A series of stirring events follows, and tlio romance and nivstery of the drama are well sustained throughout. The principals in the strong cast are Jameson Thomas, Lilian Hall-Davis, Warwick Ward, Ciibl) M'Laughlin, and Forrester Harvey. The supporting programme includes "New Greater C.ollegians," which is well up to the usual high standard of the King's Theatre; and a most admirable programme of incidental and other music is provided by the King's Select Orchestra under ■ the able; .direction of Mr. A. 11. Jerome.- ■ •■■
