... CHEISTCHURCH, This Day. At a meeting of the New Zealand Swimming Council a cable was received from the Amateur Swimming Union of Australia stating that N. Eyan and E. ,Grier were available to tour New Zealand. It was decided to reply that, owing to the fact that the swimming season was practically over, the tour could not be gone pn with, but to extend an invitation to the swimmers named to tour the Dominion in December and January next.
