FAREWELL TO ATHLETE
All athletes and athletic enthusiasts are invited to attend a function to bo held in Gamble and Creed's rooms, Lambton quay, to-morrow morning at 10.30, in honour of Mr. W. G. Kalaugher, the Rhodes Scholar, who leaves for Oxford University on Friday. On the athletic field Mr. Kalaugher has manyfine achievements to his credit, and it is anticipated that there will be a large gathering to-morrow to wish him good-bye and the best of luck in the future. The Mayor (Mr. G. A. Troup) has been invited to attend and presided
