Thg. practice of deducting points from dehorned animals entered for show competition was discussed at the annual meeting of the New Zealand Ayrshire Cattle Breeders' Association, following a remit from tho Southland branch that ill future judges bo instructed not to de-

duct points from dehorned cattle. The Southland representative explained that the remit was intonded to benefit those breeders who found horned beasts a nuisance. The chairman (Mr P. Mills, Hawcra) supported tho remit, which was carried.
