In continuation Pastor Harvey said that the attacks of the barbarous Goths and Huns and others shattered the Empire of the Caesars into ten distinct fragments, which, true to the prophecy of Dan. 2:41-43, have remained distinct to this day. Charlemagne, Charles the Kith, and Napoleon attempted world conquest, but failed; and from Bismarck's time to Kaiser Wilhelm the German Eagle eyed the world with jealousy. These failures, Pastor Harvey said, were the fulfilment of Daniel's prophecy in the second chapter, verses 41-43. In concluding, attention was drawn to verse 44 of Daniel 2, revealing that God's kingdom would be set up while the ten divisions existed.
