"REINCARNATION."
Many men had accepted the doctrine of reincarnation because of its reasonableness said Professor Ernest s Wood, during the course of a lecture given in the Theosophical Hall on Sun>.y evening, but there were many who had erroneous ideas of the subject, the commonest of which was that return to earth was possible in animal form. Life was certainly immortal, but could not reappear in ■ retrograde fashion.. Man lived.his life as a term in school, and returned to continue his education. Life after death was a temporary state, to be devoted to thought true spirituality being achieved only after many lives and deaths. Past experiences were not frequently remembered after death, but the essential results remained After the repose - period following deatli man was ready to start a fresh life on a Higher plane. Reincarnation was the only theory that satisfied our sense of justice lhere were references to it in the Jewish Bible and the Christian Scriptures
