Again there was ,not a. vacant., seat at the Grand Opera House, last night, when the International Vaudeville Compa.hy headed by Salern6 submitted their delightful programme/Never lias a-juggler of Salerno's adroitness" been seen ; here:: he makes wizardry- -outv-of simple : gestures, and brings down'the house with.his remarkable, balancing, pitching, and tossing. Then..there are. the Bounding JVlunroes, two comical. fellows wh.p .submit an amazing and amusing interlude on a taiit rope staging; their twisting and tumbling and somersaulting must be seen to-be believed;- Arthur Pond supplies', song - and nonsense in broad' fashion/ and: gets over some absurdities;'Hilda-' Nelson is-a-very charming singer who excels in songs in Italian; Ngaire and • Tointon present a .musical melange 'with.' i xylophones,.' . song, and drums; Brian Lawrence sings "in a fascinating boyish tenor; Phyllis Dv Barry dances with cheery vim, and gives some graceful reasons for the Charleston; "Leah, Maid of. the Mist," and Professor Horace Sierak mystify with a lady^in-the-box trick; and Osborne and Perryer are seen in a Cockney, sketch with the assistance of a crumbling car, and also present a honeymoon sketch that is amusing to a degree. The Beauty. Contest final is causing no end of interest. The season closes definitely on Monday night next.
