The "Wellington Competition Society's ninth annual. festival was continued in the Town Hall ana Concert Chamber to-day. The results of this •morning's tests are as.follow:— Piano Solo (under 10), "Fairy Frolics." —Recalls: Master Harold Reynolds (Wellington), Master Arthur Garnham (Berhampore), Miss Kaha Tahiwi (Miramw). Piano Duet (14 and under 16), "L'Ondine." —Miss M. Meier and Miss M. "Windsor (Wellington), 87 points, 1; Miss Joyce Hare and Miss Bobina Maeintyre (Wellington), .85 points, 2; Miss Joyce Hare and Master Ewen Burns (Wellington), 83 points, 3. Beoitation (girls, 9 and under 12), "The River."—Recalls: Joan Hughes (Christchureh), Grace Taylor Palmerston),. Jean Coker (Wellington). Highly commended: Joyce Dinnison (Wellington), Isabel Lewis (Lower Hutt), Marjorie Newport (Wellington), Jean Barton (Hataitai), Margaret Churchill (Kaiwarra). Among the tests will be the following:—Sacred solo (bass), flute solo (own selection); musical monologue (under 16), and eecentrie dance (under 16).
