FAIR CONDITIONS EXPECTED.

The barometer has fallen strongly in the South and the winds have changed from southerly to westerly. Tho weather has been generally fair, except for ecatteied showers on the West Coast and Southern districts. Increasing westerly winds are forecasted, and further fair weathei should prevail in the East Coast districts. Scattered showers are expected on the west coast of the North Island, with rain fulling on the West Coast and Southern districts of the South Island.
