FREEZING WORKERS' DISPUTE SETTLED

(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) HAWERA, This Day. An agreement has been reached by the Disputes Committee in Wellington regard'ng the dispute at the Pate.i Freezing Works -with reference to the killing of day-old calves. This class of work is being resumed on Monday. It is understood that the men receive an increased rate, but under the new scheme the work of the slaughtermen is' to be ' done without the assistance of labourers as previously supplied.
