The Wellington Kugby Kefereerf Association met. in..the V.M.C.A. Room* last evening,, M:\ T. A. Eletcher being in the chair. , A report, was made by the president concerning business transacted by the executive. Two applications for permifsion to sit for the .senior referees' examination had.' been received. Regarding the action of a referee in arranging with, another raferee to take his game last Saturday, Mr. Fletcher .pointed out that appointment* must be made through the Appointment Board. Explanations by the referees concerned were made and accepted. • The referee appointed to the Wellington A v. Marist internwdiate grade match reported that neither of the teams attended the ground to which the match waf allotted. He had not been notified of th« game having been postponed or transferred. The acting-eecretary stated that no advice regarding any alteration to this fixture had been received from the Rugby. Union.
