LODGE MEETING

A.D. Bro. W. J. M'Cullough presided over $. well-attended meeting of Island B»y Lodge, which was held in St. Hilda's Hall. Official visits were received from Pacific and Coronation lodges, andefrom D.P. Bro. W. Mooney and D.P. Bro. Clark. Visitors were also present from alf lodges in tHe district. On behalf of the lodge," D.P. Bro. Mooney presented P.A. Bro. A. J. Dockery with a P.A. diploma and collar as a mark of appreciation from the members for services rendered as an officer of ths lodge. Bro. Dockery also received a vote of thanks, aad it was ordered that hit same be placed on tie honours board. Complimentary speeches were made in reference to the good work of the'brother during the past few years. The officers for the present term are: A.D.. Bro. W. J. M'Cullough; J.P.A., Bro. I. Greig; treasurer, Bro. H. J. Crewes; V.A., Bro. F. Kuch; 1.G., Bro. Dixon; 0.G., Bro. A. J. Dockery; A D.B.s, Bros. F. Twist and Benme; V.A.B.'s Bros. Newson and Stott; M.C., Bro. C. Boniface; secretary, Bro. T. A. MollUon. A challenge was accepted from Melrose Lodge for the Hawke Cup for 26th August. The social side of the . lodge is being catered for by • series of monthly socials during ,-the winter months. ■
