TERRACE.
There was a small attendance at the meeting of householders in the Terrace Bchool district. Mr. A. Johnston presided. The following committee was elected: Messrs. A. Johnston, J. Darling, S. Milne, H. I. Graves, A. Thomson, T. B. Laweon, A. J. Bloxam, Mrs. F. M. Forde. The headmaster (Mr. 8,. Darroch) stated in his report that the school'1 attendance for the past year showed a marked improvement on that for 1924, and the school finished with an average of 493 and a roll of 539. It had. been predicted.to.the committee that the advance would probably not be maintained, "arid the'predictions had been verified-by .the-first-quarter this year, which showed an average of 465, slightly in advance of 1924, . but 28 less than last year.' •: :-;- ■ In moving the adoption of the committee's report the chairman said there were still some matters referred to in past' years which were confronting the committee, and in a way it did not seem that much progress was being made. \
