NEWSPAPEBS CONDEMNED,

(TOSUIBID « IBS TIMES.I

LONDON, 3rd January.

*'The TimesJ' Milan correspondent reports that he put a series of questions to Prince Carol regarding his reasons for the renunciation, receiving the following written reply: "I cannot make a statement about what you ask. : I can only say that everything except the official communication are extravagant, damnable lies. I am astonished that.serious newspapers publish fantastic news which is merely subversive propaganda against my family and myself. This propaganda emanates from a well-known source, and honourable newspapers should not use it. This is all I can •say."—Signed, Carol.
