The sixteenth fcShow ot: tho Timani A. and I\ Assoeia'ciou opened yesterday in five 'weather. The entries totalled 1311. Considering the severe winter, stock showed surprisingly well, and the exhibition, as a whole, is: very good. In merinos, 1?. H. Smith took three championships and J. H. Grigg one. The other eharnpionahips wcie: English ram, W. J. Kelland; reserve, A. S. Ehvorthy; ewe, AV..J. Kelland, championship aud reserve. Border Leicester: Kara, H. Euddenklau; rcservo, A. M. Copiand; ewe, H* Ruddenklau, championship 'and rosorvc. Komney Marsh: Ram," Donald Grant; champion; J. 11. Grigg, reserve; cwey C. If. Johnstcuc; reserve, J". H. Grigg. Shropshire: Earn and ewe, Eupert Parry.' Southdowns: Bam and ewe, J. H. Grigg. Suffolk Downs: Cargo Bros. Eyelands: Ram, Bayley and Withcll; ewe, Jolm Brooks. Corricdalc: Earn and ewe, Isaac Andrew. Shorthorn bull: J. M'Bridc.
The championship for the best gotup beast was won by A. S. Khvorthy, Holme Station, and the cup for the ■best milk and butter-fat record for the year :was won by the same farmer's Domino Van Thumper, with a yield of 16,5301b_ of milk and 638.67 1b butter-fat, which is 5.671b above the requirement. The champion harness horse-was Miss I. Rutherford's Blaekthorne.
The Governor-General will attend the Show to-day.
