INCEEASE IN SHEEP, DECREASE IN CATTLE. (BI TBLESRAPH,—PRESS ASSOCIATION.)

Complete figm'es relating to the entries of cattle at the approaching Eoyal Show 'were made available yesterday. As compared with last year's Eoyal Show they are 71 fewer in nuinbor, though the total for this year's Eoyal Show is an increase 'of 165 as compared witli the Canterbury Metropolitan Show of last year. The totals are 477 against MS at Manawatu. Shorthorns head the list with 115 entries, Friesians coming next with 111. The Ayrsliires total 76 and the Jerseys 60. Sheep entries arc 44.1 more than, for last year's Eoyal Show.
