WESLEY CHURCH CHOIR.
A concert was given last night in the •Wesley Hall, Taranaki street, by members of- the Wesley Church choir, Mr. H. Temple White conducting. There was only a moderate attendance, but the programme- was much appreciated. The proceedings were- in aid of the organ fund. The programme was as follows : Rongs, "What Am I, Love, Without Thee?" (Stephen Adams), Mr. 11. F. Gardiner; "Arise, O Sun" (Brashe Day), Mrs. Clayton; "Home Song" (Liddle), Miss .toy Sutherland; "The Egg" (humorous), 'Mr. S. W. Stokes; "Vulcan's Song" (Gounod), Mr. L. U. Daniell; "In Haven" (Elgar), Miss Nellie Amies. Part songs, which included a madrigal, "Joy and Sorrow" (Sullivan), "The Silent Land". (Gaul), "Banks o' _Doon," "The Shepherd's Lament" (Smart), "In Silent Night," "Love, Fare Thee Well" (Brahms), and "Viking Song" (S. Coloridgo Taylor), were delightfully sung by the clioir. The-" programme also included a pianoforte duet by Messrs. Erie Froggart and H. l\ Uardiuer,
