(■Received 28th August, 11 a.m.) PABIS, 27th August. Large crowds at .Deauville enthusiastically and impartially, applauded every good stroke the Australians made. The visitors made a most popular impression, especially the p^rformnnces of j Mrs. Harper and Miss- Boyd when playing against Mile. Lenglen. These games evoked the warmest praise of the critics, though Mile. Lengleu was handicapped by a blistered hand, which prevented her from participating in the final of the doubles match. j
