TO-MORROW'S BROWN SHIELD MATCH. What is regarded as one of the most important fixtures of the local Soccer season will be played at the- Basin Reserve to-morrow afternoon, when Wellington will be called on to defend the Brown Shield against the challenge of South Auckland. Although tho ground is sure to J be on the heavy side, the game should bo well worth watching, as both teams have much to recommend them. Wellington's decisive win over Auckland indicated very plainly that the standard of football here is very high this season, and tho members of the Wellington team are confident that they will be able to retain the shield, j On the other hand, the South Auckland team holds high hopes of being able to take the shield back to the Auckland district, and the indications are for a stirring contest to-morrow. Tho match will commence at 3 o'clock, and will be preceded by a curtain-raiser at 1.30 o'clock between V.M.C.A. C and Seatoun. two teams prominent in the B division. i
