*-i ■".? U''~I* was generally expected, until the result, of the "Fusion" Conference was made known,-that organisation so far as Reform and Liberal were concerned, would be suspended. Such, however,- is nod the co.se, as the Reform liirty, supported by Hie chairman of their executive, continue to be active in various electorates. I hold no brief lor the, Leader of the Opposition but in mr opinion, ha is deserving of full credit lor-having submitted lo every proposal made by the "other side" in regard to the scope of the late conference. In short, alt will agree that Mr. Wilford has "played the game."—l am, etc., ■„,,.,. NON-PARTY. 23rd June.
