WAR MEMORIAL DONATION.

AUCKLAND, This Day. Mr. A. S. Bankart, president of the Auckland Savings Bank Trustees, stated at' a meeting to-day that the amount for carrying forward, as the result of the surplus for the year of £60,547 and £5949 brought forward last year, was £66,497. The directors decided to donate a further sum of £12,500 to the War Memorial Museum building funds, and also to donate £1000 to the Auckland Sailprs' Home.
