If Mr. France refers to the BW i?Sr °r, the Korok°™ t 0 Tawa Flat hill line, these poles are advised to be on the s.s Puriri, due in Wellington next week; (5) Mr. France paid his £3 lls deposit to the Power Board on sth September, 1924, the Power Board paid the balance on completion of his house nstallahon £17 15s on 20th November, IM4J, and charges him no interest. He will not be asked to pay anything off tho principal until he gets current) (6) Mr Mather informed the Plimmerton Katepayers representative that his districts needs had been kept before tho board-that Mr. M'Curdy had been a perfect nuisance in advocating completion, but the failure of the Government to supply current in June, and of tho delay in the contract had caused dislocation in the board's plans; (7) in case Mr I-ranco queries what we did with our gangs while waiting for Plimmerton poles I may say we utilised them in erecting duplicate transmission lines throughout the area, which we had "poled" under the original scheme, so as not to loae the services of-the experienced men we had m our employ.—l am, etc., ANGUS J.
