- ■ MELBOURNE, This Day. At. Flemington the weather was cold and dull for training. Wallace Mortlake <«nd Prince Charles galloped ten furlongs on the grass in 2min 19sec. Shanky did five five furlongs o*h the sand taking lmin 4|sec. Valorem and Wycherley did a mile and a quarter on the sand in 2min 20^sec. All Sunshine galloped a mile and a quarter in 2min 2£sec. Prince Minimbah did six furlongs in lmin 20sec. The Night Patrol, with H. Cairns up, easily beat Glaxy, ridden by A. Wilson, over six furlongs on the sand, done in lmin 19Jsec. Bold and Bad did six furlongs in lmin 9isec. Backwood and Gungool covered a mile in lmin 52isec Murray King beat -The Lance over a mile and a half, which took 2min 50£ sec. At Caulfield on the grass Drongo', with Or. Young up,, galloped eleven furlongs m _2min 26^sec, the first mile taking lmm 46isec. Suomi galloped a mile in lmm 47£ sec.' Demades and Soloastrura galloped ten furlongs in 2min 16AEec. Wmttier, ridden by E. O'Sullivan, did a fast: mile in imin 43sec. Wynette galloped t ten furlongs in 2min 12sec. Lrraball beat Penshurst over nine furlongs, done ■in lmin 59sec. Triangle galloped four furlongs in 49sec. King of Mirth and King Victor did the be=t ten furlong gallop, taking 2min. llisec for the task. Miss Disraeli did six furlongs \in lmin 17£ sec. Spearfelt, with a lightweight up, galloped the best mile of the morning, taking lmin 42Jsec
