ond spell the game was South Wellington s, Petone .playing with any amount of dash, but placing not too we'll. Stocks added his team's second point, following a corner, and the third came from King, also following corner play. Smart work led up to the fourth "goal, the ball being carried from South Wellington's goal to the far posts with fine passing from a clearing punt from Gell, in goal for Wellington. Petone kept at it solidly but could not reduce the lead.
