ST. CUTHBERT'S, BERHAMPORE
The annual meeting of St. Cuthbert's Church, Berhampore, was held in the Parish Hall on Tuesday. The vicar, tlio Rev. E. J. Rich, presided over a record attendance of parishioners. The vicar, in his address, outlined the progress made during the year in the parish. Tho finances of the various accounts presented showed the marked progress made. Special mention of the very successful bazaar held, as a result of which a very substantial sum'was put aside for a new church/was made. The number of communicants for the year was 2011. an increase of over 300 as compared with last year. During the! year, a Ladies' Guild was formed, and was already doing valuable work. St. Philip's Ciuirchrooin, Mornington, which was built a little over twelve months ago, was showing steady progress; although the work was pioneering. '
