The Persian Minister of War has initiated strong measures against his political . opponents by arresting Quamies (ex-Premier) and other prominent leaders, 9n a charge of intriguing to secure his downfall. The arrests have caused much excitement.
Kabul reporte state that Abdul Ab Khan, formerly Afghan Consul-General at Tashkent, has been assassinated.
