DUSSELDORF TRAGEDY
FRENCH MAKE ARRESTS.

BERLIN, 2nd October.
An official communique states that the Kuestrin adventure was speedily ended. Four, hundred rebels,, including the leaders, were captured.
In a message from Dusseldorf, the French authorities that ( seventeen Germans were killed in yesterday's S=£aratist. disorders, comprising twelve civilians, three members of the Security Police, v and two of the Blue Police. Ninety-one Germans were treated in hospital. Three hundred were able to go home after their wounds were dressed. Two Frenchmen were slightly wounded. 7 The French authorities have arrested on a charge of responsibility for the incidents Regierung's President, Dr. Hans; the Chief of the German Police, Dr. Heffler; the Chief Commissioner of Police, Herr-Vallenberg, and two officers of the Security Police.
