The-remains of the late Private W. J. Butlery who died, as a result of a war disability, were interred at the Soldiers' Cemetery, Karori, to-day. Private Butler left with an early reinforcement, and «aw considerable service abroad. He retained to New Zealand in the hospital «hip Maheno in December, 1916, and after receiving hospital treatment in New Zealand was able to resume-his duties ■with his old firm, Messrs. Sargood, Son. and Ewen, but eventually his health became worse, and he Tvas forced to retire from business, and for the last two months has been confined to his home. Mr.-Butler is survived by his widow. The funeral was ■ attended by his WprM.PO,. Mr. L. M. Blyth, representing the Ketumed Soldiers' Association, Mr W. Stevens and Mr.: H. J.
