WELLINGTON ROWING CLUB
A meeting of members of 1 the Wellington .Rowing Club was held recently, when it was decided to hold an "old members' ''■ day.
Mr. W. J. Gaudin, who presided, express.e'd deep regret at the. death of Mr. W. Rose, a founder of tlie club. The" late Mr. Eose was a father of Mr. E. J. Rose, a member of the famous "big four" crew.
The meeting decided to get into touch with all old members, with a view to convening a meeting in January, when the day for the old members is to be further discussed.
