Miss Clare Sheridan telegraphs to the " Daily Herald," from Constantinople, that she told Mr. Budyard Kipling that she. was writing for the "New York World."
"He did not sa.y *c was talking confidentially. I regret that he objects to the publication of his views.
" No doubt the female of the species is more deadly than the male."
[Miss Sheridan is the American sculptress vii»o published what' was purported to be Mr. Kipling's views on America's participation in the war. Mr. Kipling denied the interview.]
