CONDUCT OF WELLINGTON
HOTELS.
The quarterly meeting of the Welling- ■ ton Licensing Committee was held at the Magistrate's Court to-da.y, Mr. W. G. Riddell, S.M., presiding. The report of the Inspector of Police (Mr. W. B. M'llveney) stated that tho general conduct 'of the licensed ' houses during the past quarter had been very creditable. The following transfers were granted:— Kate Wilkinson to Thomas Wilkinson, Imperial Hotel; Hugh George Webb to Ernest Limbrick, Cambridge Hotel; P. R. Webber to Samuel Allen, Masonic Hotel:-Ann Sullivan to John Berryman, Pier Hotel.
