TAHITI ARRIVES FBOM SAN FRANCISCO,

The Union Company's R.U.S. Tahiti arrived in the stream sit Wellington at 5.15 a.m. to-day from San Francisco, via Papeete and Rarotonga, and berthed shortly before 10 o'clock at the Queen's Wharf. The Tahiti left San Francisco at 11 a.m. on the 24th June, and had a fine weather voyage as far as Papeete, which was reached at 6 o'clock on the morning of the 6th July. She continued her voyage from Papeete early the next morning, and arrived at Rarotongn at 6 a.m. on the 9th July. Tho Tahiti sailed from Raretonga at 5 o'clock the same evening for Wellington. The voyage throughout was marked by fine weather.

At present she is to leave here at 7 p.m. on Monday for Sydney direct. i

The Kennedy -will leave for Foxton on Monday provided sufficient cargo is offering.

The Canadian Piaster should arrive at Wellington to-morrow evening from Auckland in continuation of her voyage from St. John, via. Australia. She is to leave here on Wednesday for Lyttelton

The Komata is due at Wellington on Sunday from Westport. She is to leave here, about Wednesday next on the return trip to Westport.

The Union Company adrtees that the Wairuna was to have left San Francisco on the 9th July for Apia and Wellington. She should arrive here early in August.
