The Wellington Caledonian Society ia extending' a welcome to Mass Marie Nilseon, tho talented Scotch singer, in tho Concert .Chamber of the Town Hall tonight. Pipers are notified to parado at Hie Town. Hall at 7.45 6harp. A hearty invitation is extended to all Scottish visitors to Wellington to attend. In connection with the Grand Scottish Fair and Clan. Gathering, in aid of the Caledonian Society, tho opening night is announced for Saturday nisrht next, when the Mayor (Mr. E, A. Wright, M.P.) will preside. Mr. J C. Cuaack is convener of tho hardworking committee and Mr. Alex. Sutherland is tho organiser, whose novel and business-like methods will contribute to the success forecasted for the venture.
