The Central Profiteering Committee is co-operating with traders with a view to reducing the cost of living. It is expected that as an outcome large supplies of guaranteed food, clothing, and standard building materials will be placed on the market at fixed prices. It is suggested that the standard price of mens. suits will be £5. West? End tailors are at present charging fifteen to eighteen guineas..
